“Djurgårdsljus 2010” is a public event with 17 temporary light installations at the Royal Djurgården in Stockholm. The light festival is meant to provide a platform for public and professional discussions about energy, environment and health. This year, “Djurgårdsljus” was arranged for the first time. The arrangement is supposed to be annual recurring.

Olsson & Linder participated with the following lighting installation: MAKES ME FEEL GOOD ALL OVER!

When I think of Djurgården, I think of the coloured lights at the amusement park (Gröna Lund) which gilded my childhood summers. Once a year my mom had saved up enough money so that it was enough to cover the cost for both the subway into the town, the boat from Slussen, entrance fee and some attractions. This was long before you paid for one “bracelet” and I didn’t need so much to be pleased. For me, it was more than enough to just get entry into this fascinating world of coloured lights, hustle and bustle. It was happiness to go around and be filled with all the magic.
